Authenticity matters. Generative AI is great at supporting documentation practices: writing code, moving files, updating structures. But people don't want to read AI-generated text and they are turned off by documentation that reads like "AI Slop," or worse, contains hallucinated errors.

I am a technical communication consultant with specialization in the education field. I have a PhD in Rhetoric and Scientific and Technical Communication. I teach a range of technical and professional writing courses at Central Washington University.
